My Sweet Myriah,
From the moment I first held you in my arms, I knew my life had changed forever. Watching you grow has been the greatest gift I’ve ever received. I’ve seen you face challenges with courage, love deeply, and hold yourself to a standard that makes me incredibly proud to be your dad.
Now, here you are—graduating high school and stepping into a new chapter. I know this world isn’t always easy, but I also know there’s nothing in it you can’t handle. You are smart, strong, kind, and capable of doing anything you set your heart on.
This site is for you. A place where those who love you—family, friends, mentors—can leave you messages of encouragement and love. I hope it reminds you just how many people believe in you and how much you’re cherished.
No matter where life takes you, never forget how proud I am to be your father. You are my heart, my hero, and my greatest joy.
I love you always.
– Dad
P.S. Granny would be proud of you.
"Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a real blessing.”
Psalm 127:3
At the young age of 20 I became a mother to you. Not knowing anything about parenting, I was terrified on what the journey would be like since I was a kid myself. Nevertheless, the journey of motherhood with you , was exactly what I needed! You taught me patience, perseverance, ambition and what it truly means to love.
As you enter into this new phase a life, my prayer is that you never forget that God is with you even in the toughest moments where you feel lost. Life will not be a cakewalk but if you stand on the principals and morals that have been instilled, you will fulfill your purpose. I cherish the talks and bonds we have created over the years and I look forward to watching you grow into a woman. Just know , as long as God puts breath in my body, I will be here to hold your hand; to support you in whatever way I can. I’ve told you this many times before, you were who I needed in my life to be the woman I am today. I love you sweetheart! Now and forever..
Love Mom
